Serving this town for the past 14 years has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, we’ve made real progress — improving sidewalks and roads, expanding greenways and parks, keeping taxes low and ensuring Mooresville has a strong voice in regional transportation planning.
While this election didn’t go the way we hoped, my heart is full of gratitude. Thank you for your trust, your encouragement and your belief in our community’s future.
My commitment to Mooresville remains as strong as ever, and I look forward to continuing to support the town I love in new ways.

ABOUT ME
I have a long record of active volunteerism and community leadership in Mooresville. I have served in multiple roles at Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church, including Past Administrative Board Chair, Past Finance Committee Chair, and current member of the Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC). As a dedicated Rotarian, I am the current Vice President of the Rotary Club of Top of the Lake and previously served as both President and Community Service Chair. I am deeply committed to supporting local needs through FeedNC, where I am a Past Board Chair and continue to serve as a Board Member. In addition, I contribute to local business development as a Past Board Member and Town Board Liaison
with the Mooresville Chamber of Commerce.

RESULTS YOU CAN DRIVE ON!
PUSHED NCDOT TO LAUNCH THE N.C. 150 WIDENING: including a new 10-lane I-77/150 bridge—to unclog Mooresville’s busiest corridor. NEIGHBORHOOD MOBILITY: Advanced Brawley School and Williamson Road widenings with sidewalks and other safety upgrades. WINNING DOLLARS, NOT RAISING TAXES: Helped secure $30M+ in grants for roads, sidewalks, rail safety, and greenways — including $13.6M federal RAISE, $6.7M regional for the East-West Connector, $4.5M federal rail-safety, and $2.5M+ for school-area sidewalks. NEXT UP: Exit 38 and the Midnight–Oates overpass to take pressure off Exit 36 and N.C. 150. (ROW 2026–2028, construction 2029–2031). SAFER ROUTES FOR STUDENTS: Backed a pedestrian bridge over N.C. 150 linking to Lake Norman High School. FIGHTING TO FIX THE TOLL LANES: Leading the charge to renegotiate the I-77 toll contract — pushing for lower toll costs, fairer terms for drivers, and the addition of a new general-purpose lane to ease congestion for commuters.
SMARTER GROWTH IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Mooresville has reduced the number of high density apartments by 95% in the past two years. We have negotiated with developers to reduce housing numbers below the units allowed by law and to enhance access and add amenities whenever possible. Our new West Side Library branch is serving over 87,000 visitors with 12,256 card holders.
